The Sundance Center is a place to focus on individual, family and group therapy, as well as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
Description:
The Sundance Center's Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program (EAP) is client centered and peer focused. It relies on volunteers to help with chores related to the care of horses, barns and special events. It can also provide valuable perspective for the volunteers, in terms of learning about horses and farms.
History:
The Sundance Center was founded in 2002. It's EAP program has grown from a few workshops to a consistent program currently preparing for year-round work in a new facility in Fennville, MI.
