CMOF serves as an educational resource, complementing and extending the learning of home and school. We encourage a hands-on learning experience in the areas of Art, Science and Humanities. The Museum provides a fun, safe, inviting place offering accessibility for children with all abilities. Our exhibits nurture exploration, collaboration, and creativity for all children and their caregivers. Our motto: "Hands On=Minds On"
Description:
We have many "Hands-On" exhibits for children to play with and learn with. Music, lights, magnets, and bubbles are just some of our exhibits. We offer field trips, birthday parties, science nights and several special events each month. Our visitors come mostly from Allegan, Van Buren, and Ottawa Counties. We also have many Chicago visitors that have summer homes on Lake Michigan.
History:
We started as a "Hands-On" traveling museum three years ago. We now have a permanent home at 202 E. Main St. Fennville (middle of downtown) but eventually we will be located 1 block west on Maple St. with a proposed much larger, newly constructed facility.
