The Ballston Farmers Market is held every Friday in 2008 from May 30 through October 17 (except July 4). The volunteer would help with supervising the farmers as they set up the market, staffing the Partnership booth, assisting with promotion and marketing, and breaking down the market at the end of the day.
Volunteers should be interested in farmers markets and enjoy working outside in summer weather. They should be able to lift moderate weight boxes and carry tables and chairs.
