The Murphy Auto Museum is dedicated to providing an educational venue for the display of a wide variety of beautiful vintage automobiles and telling the story of our rich automotive heritage and its impact on American society.
Description:
We display 70 classic automobiles, ranging from a 1903 Oldsmobile to more modern sports cars. We have a Vintage clothing display and have recently added a Model Train layout, the largest HO scale in the tri-counties area. We rely upon volunteers to conduct visitors through the museum. No experience is necessary. We are open every Saturday and Sunday.
History:
The Museum was founded in 2002 by Daniel Murphy, M.D., a retired neurosurgeon, and initially was located on Palma Drive in Ventura. The Museum moved in 2005 to our present 32,000 square foot location at 2230 Statham Blvd. in Oxnard.

Exit the 101 Fwy at Rose Ave. Go South 3.4 miles. Turn right on Oxnard blvd. and then take the next left, which is Statham Blvd. The Museum is on the left. |
