The mission of the agency is to provide needed services to families with children in low income target areas of Concord and Contra Costa County. The programs emphasize two areas-Early Childhood Education and Economic Development. The Philosophy of the organization is to assist our neighbors in obtaining self-sufficiency and healthy family lives.

Description:
Cambridge Community Center provides the following services to the community:
Child Development Programs (Preschool and Full Day Preschool, and Headstart)
Self-Sufficiency Through Licensed Family Day Care - helping low income families develop their home day care business, throughout the county.
Nutrition and Active Lifestyle Education - to low income families in Central and East Contra Costa County

History:
The agency has been a non-profit organization since March 1979. The agency receives funding from the state, federal government, cities and county. Programs are developed in response to (or anticipation of ) community needs.
