The Remington Homework Club is a volunteer-based tutoring club that connects tutors with students to provide homework assistance and to develop mentoring relationships.

Description:
The Remington Homework Club is held every Monday night from 6:00–8:00 pm at the Church of the Guardian Angel on West 27th Street in Remington. Our tutors volunteer their time to work with neighborhood children in grades 4-12 on reading, writing, arithmetic, and share other bits of wisdom, knowledge, and fun.

The students arrive at 6:00 as we begin the night with a healthy dinner, provided by a volunteer. We then provide an hour of tutoring followed by a short game period with snacks. The tutors walk the kids to their respective homes at 8:00pm.
