Ecuadent Foundation is a non-profit organization built on the talent of dedicated volunteers. Volunteer healthcare professionals from all over the United States travel to impoverished villages of Ecuador and deliver free medical and dental care to children in need.
Ecuadent is a growing organization and presently treats over 2,000 children each year and reaches over 15,000 by instructing in methods of dental hygiene and distributing thousands of toothbrushes, the majority of which go to children who have never owned one.

In addition to these missions, we have begun networking with Orphanages in Guayaquil and Esmeraldas, Ecuador. We collect clothing and toys for these children and we are in the process of creating a technical program to help children learn computer skills and carpentry.

Tammy Fesche, Executive Director, founded Ecuadent in 1990 to fulfill her commitment to help the poor people of her country.

There are several ways to volunteer with the Ecuadent Foundation. Right now we are in need professionals with Fundraising experience to help us plan future successful fundraisers. We are also constantly looking for qualified medical and dental professionals to accompany us on our mission trips. There are also administrative assistant volunteer positions available which include answering phones, bookkeeping, and grant writing. We transport a sea container full of medical/dental supplies, toys, and clothing to Ecuador each January. We can always use an extra hand to inventory these supplies, package them, and load them onto the sea container.
