The Creative Kids Community Center's mission includes: 1) improving our community's quality of life by assessing individual residents' needs and networking them with public and private services, 2) inspiring the vision of our community's children and youth, and kindling their ability to demonstrate creative expression, 3) providing opportunities for our community's children and youth that encourage competent social and life skills, as well as, healthy physical behavior, and 4) engaging our community's students in the learning process, helping to increase their school attendance, course grades, and self-determination.

Description:
The Creative Kids Community Center strives to improve the quality of life for Baltimore County Residents (infants to seniors, including emerging immigrant populations) by providing a wide array of information, referrals and assistance through a comprehensive approach that enhances community sustainability and development. We also make public and private services accessible by way of hosting outreach locations, and offer our community's children opportunities that encourage competent social and life skills, healthy physical behavior, and visionary creative expression.

History:
The first Creative Kids Community Center opened in Essex in 1997. The second location, Cockeysville, opened in October of 2005. The third site opened in Loch Raven 2007. We are working hard and enjoying growing the programs to meet the needs of our community members.
