Hospice of the Chesapeake improves the quality of life for those in our communities experiencing advanced illness or bereavement through hospice and palliative care, compassionate support and education.

History:
Hospice of the Chesapeake celebrated 25 years of service to the community in 2004. Started by a small group of dedicated volunteers committed to providing compassionate care and dignity to the terminally ill, Hospice of the Chesapeake grew steadily over the years and is now the pre-eminent provider of hospice and palliative care to those with advanced illness in Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties. Volunteers are the heart of hospice and provide a listening ear, open mind and a loving heart to patients and families. Opportunities are available in direct patient care, office/administrative support, community outreach and at Chesapeake Treasures, our volunteer staffed and managed resale shop in Severna Park.
