Non-profit organization founded by several of Maryland's leading employers who have made a commitment to support education reform and improve student achievement throughout Maryland.

Description:
Founded in 1992, MBRT brings the powerful, unified voice of business to support rigorous education standards and accountability, and to convince, motivate and inspire students to perform at higher levels, to complete rigorous math and science coursework, and to prepare for challenging, rewarding careers.

With direct access to all Maryland middle and high school students, MBRT is a key link to the workforce pipeline.

Through its awarding-winning, nationally recognized Achievement Counts campaign involving more than 2,600 volunteers and an innovative teen career website, MBRT is reaching – in person, in print and online – hundreds of thousands of students early and often with strong messages about the importance of rigorous math and science courses and the exciting careers that await the well prepared.
