Volunteer Central, the volunteer center for Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland, works to improve the quality of life of our community and its citizens through volunteerism and civic leadership.

Description:
Year round we work with individuals, groups, and businesses to build healthy, vibrant communities and improve the quality of life for Marylanders. We help to connect interested and motivated people with community organizations that have volunteer opportunities. We offer opportunities for a person wanting to volunteer once in a while or a person who can commit to volunteering on a regular basis.

History:
Since its founding in 1993, Volunteer Central has become the primary resource for recruiting, developing and organizing volunteers in the Greater Baltimore area. Through our programs, more than 20,000 people have helped strengthen hundreds of nonprofit organizations while serving our community.
