NSP's mission is to ensure that all Americans have access to services, opportunities, and attention they need in their pursuit of employment, self-sufficiency, and personal success. NSP's vision is a national movement of students grounded in direct action and committed to strengthening the networks of community support for all Americans

Description:
NSP is a student driven national non-profit that recruits and trains college students to work with Baltimore's residents. The volunteers work as Client Service Advocates, connecting our clients to any social services they need and working with them on site for job searches, job preparation, and housing searches.

History:
NSP was founded in 1998 by two Yale Sophomores who sought to bridge the widening socioeconomic gap between university students and the community surrounding that university.
