[ View Opportunities ]
Last updated on February 4, 2008

Our mission is to increase the supply of decent, affordable housing while diverting durable goods from the waste stream.

Description:
In addition to providing affordable, reusable building materials to non profits and low to moderate income families, The Loading Dock strives to take some of the fear away from home repair by offering free workshops twice a month, that are open to the general public.

History:
Founded in 1984, The Loading Dock (TLD) is the nation's first successful self-sufcient, non profit distributor of reusable building materials and has served clients from all over the east coast. TLD has received the Presidential Award for Sustainable Development and was named Baltimore's Best Friend of Urban Renewal in 2002 by The City Paper.
