We provide Human Resources for low income families.
Food, Clothing, Eviction Prevention funds, Utility, Burial, Prescription Assistance and other incidental needs.

The Salvation Army of Baltimore has 4 Boys and Girls Clubs located in West Baltimore, East Baltimore, Anne Arundel County and Baltimore County. These programs provide a safe,positive,and nurturing after school environment. On-site libraries and computer labs, and ongoing group activities such a sports teams,job training,tutoring sessions, wellness and leadership workshops promote teamwork and academic achievement.

We have a Emergency and Transitional Shelter housing 85 persons,providing shelter, meals, transitional services, Life Skills, and counseling.

We have 3 Corps/Community Centers which provide
Worship Services along with Youth Mentoring and Senior Enrichment Programs.

History:
The Salvation Army began its work in Baltimore on October 17, 1880, by reaching out to it's residents with an "open air" outreach program at the site of what is now the Cross Street Market.
Today, it continues to touch the lives of those in need, and has become a viable charitable organization with in the Greater Baltimore Community.
