Our mission, is to:
- "Give Away" over two million "Blue Star Service Banners" to the families of our "active duty service" military personnel.
- We view this with the utmost importance. In the case of the death of an active duty military service member, we consider it as our honor and duty, to see that a surviving loved one receives a "Gold Star Service Banner". We often make these presentations one on one, personally, at the funeral home.
- Based on our ability to do so, we work to contribute to the relief of distressed military service members, military service veterans, their immediate families, and the immediate family members of military decedents.
Description:
The National Remember Our Troops Campaign is a national nonprofit organization, specifically an IRS 501(c)(3) public charity, established to recognize our military service members, and their families, for the sacrifices they make. We GIVE them a sincere token of America's support, an official United States of America Blue Star or Gold Star Service Banner.
History:
The National Remember Our Troops Campaign was incorporated in the State of Maryland as a tax-exempt non stock corporation on November 5th, 2004. Our determination letter, 501(c)(3) nonprofit status according to the IRS, was issued on November 22nd, 2005. During the year 2006, we were able to provide 354 service banners free of charge to loved ones of U.S. military service personnel.
