Pearlstone's mission is to provide an environment where groups can affirm and strengthen their identity, further study and knowledge of their own missions; promote unity; enhance intergenerational communications; promote interdenominational and inter-religious understanding and do their part to better the world and improve our society.

Description:
Pearlstone provides a state-of-the art residential environment that is used by the non-profit, government and general faith based communities for meetings, conferences, retreats and other educational and spiritual purposes. Pearlstone is housed on a 164 acre site with over 2 miles of trails,in rural Reisterstown, Maryland and accommodates 150 overnight guests. The Kosher kitchen can feed 200 people and over 30,000 square feet of meeting space is available. Kayam Pesticide-Free Farm was established to reconnect people to the food that they eat and agriculture's central role in all of our lives.

History:
The ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore was formed in 1920 and is the coordinating, planning and fundraising entity for the Baltimore Jewish Community. Pearlstone Conference and Retreat Center began operations in 2001 and is an independent
non-profit agency of THE ASSOCIATED. 2007 marked the beginning of Kayam Farm & Environmental Education Center.
