Project Attend is a volunteer program to help end truancy in Baltimore County Public Schools. The program takes a team approach to improving attendance by matching volunteers with Pupil Personal Workers in one of the county's 58 middle and high schools.

Description:
Research shows a student's academic success depends on their attendance in school. To help students stay in school, increase their attendance and ultimately succeed Project Attend seeks volunteers to work with school personnel to monitor students who are consistently truant. Through the partnership of Baltimore County Volunteers and Baltimore County Public Schools truant students are identified and contacted regularly to maintain their attendance.
