The mission of the Essex Senior Center is to provide programs and activities developed and coordinated with other community agencies and organizations, which are appropriate for both active and health impaired senior citizens. The Center is a focal point for social interaction and fun. Programming strives to enhance physical and emotional well being, enable participants to access information and services, and provide opportunities for continued education and personal and social growth, in a safe and friendly environment.

Description:
The Center offers a wide variety of daily activities including trips, special events, health screenings, health lectures, art classes, exercise classes, consumer education seminars, continuing education classes, and so much more. Additional services offered include Home Team, County Ride, Community Outreach, Eating Together, and Center Connection
