
Adult Literacy, Math, And ESOL Tutors Needed!
![]() The Greater Homewood Adult Literacy and ESOL Program seeks volunteer tutors to help adult learners working to improve their reading, writing, math, and English language skills. We prefer any new ESOL tutors have some experience working with non-native English speakers. We offer volunteer opportunities for one-on-one tutoring and small group instruction. We require all our volunteers to attend tutor training sessions. We ask that they attend at least 2 volunteer workshops per fiscal year. We also require them to complete a biannual reporting form to track their learner's progress.
