Description:
We are a hospice agency servicing eighty three communities north of Boston into southern New Hampshire. We provide a multi-discipline approach to hospice services. Under the patients doctor, our medical directors, with nursing, social workers, chaplains, home care personal attendents, bereavement services and volunteer services to patients and their caregivers and families. MVH believes that an individual should be physically, spiritually, and emotionally comfortable at the end of their life.

History:
MVH is a part of the services agencies of Home Health Foundation. The agencies are: Home Health VNA, Homecare Inc and Merrimack Valley Hospice. We have offices in Lawrence, Haverhill, Chelmsford, Newburyport and Danvers MA. Patient care is shared with the caregivers and supported by the team. Volunteers provide companionship and respite to our patients and their caregivers. Volunteers are fully trained by our agency in a 10 hour training program with follow-up education and support supervision.
Our volunteers are an important part of the team and mean so much to patients and families.
