Through it's Project Library program, the Morin Foundation supports literacy and life-long learning through in-kind donations to needy public schools and public libraries nationwide and through its Library Development program for non-traditional libraries in the greater Boston area.
Description:
Nationwide, Project Library focuses on expanding the holdings of public and public school libraries in the poorest communities. Locally, Project Library's Library Development Program uniquely seeks out underserved non-profit organizations serving the disenfranchised. We provide reading and educational materials that make a difference to their nontraditional libraries and make a great difference to their constituents.
History:
The Morin Foundation has been a 501(c)(3) organization since 1997, but its work supporting those in need through in-kind donations has existed for more than 25 years.
