Our mission is to foster the wellness of all HIV positive people and respond to the changing needs of the HIV/AIDS community. Through peer leadership and support, we strive to enhance and enrich the lives of our members by providing education, treatment information and support services with the goal of empowering members to live productive lives and participate in family and community activities.

History:
The Boston Living Center is in its 18th year of service to the HIV/AIDS community. The only criterion for membership is an HIV positive status. Membership and services are free of cost. Our membership includes approximately 2,4000 active individuals living with HIV from all walks of life. With only 22 full-time staff, the Center depends on more than 300 volunteers every month to help provide the many services to our members. Volunteers participate at every level and in every department of the organization from kitchen work to office support, holistic therapies, art instruction, and from fund raising to special events.
