The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Woburn is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Description:
The Boys & Girls Club of Woburn is a youth development agency serving young people from Woburn, MA and surrounding communities. We offer programs in five core areas: character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts and sports, fitness and recreation. We use Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Youth Development Strategy which seeks to promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of : competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. We are guidance oriented, building centered, have full-time professional leadership, are for both boys and girls and we make sure that all children can afford to belong.

History:
The Boys & Girls Club of Woburn was founded in 1959 and our facility opened its doors on November 11, 1964. Thousands of youngsters have grown into productive, responsible and caring citizens ever since. Over the years we have been fortunate to serve generations of families in our community and have been blessed with great support from so many friends over the years.
