Our mission is to help keep elders in the community living in their own homes for as long as possible by providing necessary services and supports.
Description:
Springwell is a private, not-for-profit organization that provides a wide variety of home care services to enable senior citizens to remain in their own homes as long as possible. These services include homemaking, personal care, case management, home-delivered meals, and adult day health. Our volunteers help provide a personal touch to our services by delivering meals, taking seniors to doctors appointments, going grocery shopping, or simply spending time talking with a senior.
History:
Springwll was established in 1977 under the direction of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Springwell is part of a statewide network of Aging Services Access Points and nationwide network of Area Agencies on Aging. Springwell works closely with local Councils on Aging.
