DOVE, Inc. (Domestic Violence Ended) is committed to serving communities, families and individuals impacted by domestic violence. We seek to empower our clients and the community by providing safety, shelter, education and support services. By promoting an environment free from abuse, we strive to see DOmestic Violence Ended.
Description:
We provide emergency housing for women and children in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. While in our program, women receive advocacy, case management, emotional support and special services for their children. A dedicated professional and paraprofessional team of staff and volunteers provide crisis intervention and support services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence. In addition to the residential program, our services include a Community Outreach and Education Program. This enables us to offer support groups and individual advocacy to women who have already left an abusive relationship or are currently in abusive relationship. We also offer parenting groups and individual support sessions. We believe that education is a powerful tool for preventing domestic violence. Therefore we offer free educational trainings and seminars in schools, community groups and businesses.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years.

The agency's name is representative of the universal symbol of peace. DOVE, Inc. assists over 2,000 victims of domestic violence each year and answers more than 3,000 hotline calls.
