SHINE OPPORTUNITY- The SHINE program, Serving Health Information Needs of Elders, trains volunteers on Medicaid, Medicare, Health Insurance and Long Term Care insurance and the Prescription Advantage program. Volunteers provide seniors with free, confidential unbiased information regarding health insurance options. Contact Amy Bens,Community Resource Developer, 978/750-4540, ext. 288. All new volunteers receive training and orientation. All candidates are interviewed, CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) screens are completed, and three references are checked.
