SHINE OPPORTUNITY- The SHINE program, Serving Health Information Needs of Elders, trains volunteers on Medicaid, Medicare, Health Insurance and Long Term Care insurance and the Prescription Advantage program. Volunteers provide seniors with free, confidential unbiased information regarding health insurance options. Contact Amy Bens,Community Resource Developer, 978/750-4540, ext. 288.

All new volunteers receive training and orientation. All candidates are interviewed, CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) screens are completed, and three references are checked.

 From North Shore or Points South: Take Route 128 to Exit 24- Endicott Street. At the end of the ramp, take a right onto Endicott Street. At the fourth light, take a right onto Sylvan Street. Take the first right onto Walcott Road. NSES is the three-story brick building on your left. From Route 1 North or South: Take Route 1 to Route 114 (Andover Street) towards Peabody. Follow Route 114 to the fifth set of lights. Take a left onto Sylvan Street. Go through one set of lights. Take your first right onto Walcott Road. NSES is the three-story brick building on your left. From West: Take Route 114 East and follow directions above. From East: Take Route 93 North to Route 128 North and follow directions above.
