Steps To Become A Community Spotlight
- The agency must be registered with Volunteer Solutions
- The agency must be accredited (the star symbol next to the
agency name.)
Accreditation means that this agency has either participated in basic
training or demonstrated competencies in Volunteer Management.

Agencies interested in becoming accredited:
- First call or email to find out more information.
- There are two ways of getting accredited:
Take Volunteer Connections Basic Steps Training OR
Talk with one of our United Way staff trainers to receive
accreditation
- Agencies will not be formally accredited until they have
posted agency information and at least 1 opportunity online at
www.volunteersolutions.org
