The Museum will open June 2005. We will need volunteers throughout the year.

Description:
Volunteer training will begins in August. Volunteers interested in attending training sessions should contact Christina Sullivan, Volunteer and Scholars Program Manager at 443-263-1815.

History:
The Reginald F. Lewis Museum will be the second largest African American museum of its kind on the east coast. The museum will focus on the history of African Americans in Maryland. The permanent exhibition will highlight the contributions of African Americans in the following areas: Work, Family and Community, and Arts and Enlightenment.
