Description:
Child & Family Services provides a variety of services to people in the greater Lansing community, including: foster care for abused children, adoption through foster care, mental health counseling, adolescent substance abuse treatment, and Angel House--an emergency shelter and advocacy center for abused children.
History:
Child & Family Services was founded in 1911 as the Ingham County branchof the MI Children's Aid Society. Our mission at that time was "to proivde the same love and support for all children that we would have for our own children should they be left abandoned or homeless."
