There are several opportunities available throughout the hospital for teens to volunteer. They are broken down into three categories: Guest services, where they would work with families, visitors and the public, Patient Services, where they would work with patients, and Support Services, where they would work behind the scenes providing services to hospital staff. Volunteers must go through an interview and orientation in order to volunteer. They also need complete a work permit, TB test, which we will provide at no cost to the volunteer, and a parent permission permit. Teen volunteers also must be 14 years old and in the ninth grade to participate in the program. This opportunity is sponsored by: Ingham Regional Medical Center: T.E.E.N.S.
