Description:
Arc Community Services is a private, not for profit organization that provides services to individuals who need special assistance in the areas of employment training;job placement;alternative day programs for adults;elderly services;summer enrichment and school to work programs;community inclusion programs;recreational / social activities and family support and information services.

History:
ARC Community Services, Inc.,a not for profit organization that provides advocacy, education, employment and recreational services for people with disabilities was incorporated in 1952. Matson Community Services, a not for profit organization that provides residential services for people with disabilities was incorporated in 1973. In August of 1999 ARC Community Services and Matson Community Services, formed a permanent partnership and Alliance for Resource Management, Inc., (ARM)was established as the management company. The Officers and Directors of Alliance's board are also the Officers and Directors of the subsidiary corporations (ARC & MCS). Alliance's Senior Management team provides operational oversight for all three corporations. Together ARC, MCS and ARM provide a coordinated continuum of supports tailored to meet individual needs.
