Assist ERC Director with external marketing for the ERC and its programs. This will include:

Seminars and workshops
Incubator Without Walls
Business Plan Competition

Develop resources for entrepreneurs that will enhance the ERC website. For example:

Database of funders and contact information
Database of small business organizations

Assist in small business surveys to determine topics for presentation for seminars and speaking engagements.
Identify internal marketing opportunities – ways to publicize ERC offerings to MWCC student population.
Assist in ERC website maintenance.
Assist in preparing and distributing ERC electronic newsletter.
Hours can be flexible.

Benefits of the Internship:

Hands-on experience with running a small business center.
Development of market strategy and implementation skills.
Develop network of business contacts.

Qualifications:

Comfort level with technology.
Good communication skills.
Interest in small business and/or economic development, experience preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
5-20 hours/week availability.
