ASSE International is a non-profit organization that has been working to build a world of understanding through cross-cultural and educational programs since 1976.
Description:
ASSE International is a high school student exchange organization which offers exchanges of varying lengths for students from around the world. The Culture and Current Events Program that will take place in Burlington this summer is a four week orientation session that is designed to prepare each of the students for success when they enter their high school year program in a U.S. or Canadian School school in the fall. This program provides the students with an opportunity to engage in thought provoking discussions about American culture and current events. Students will be engaged in classroom instruction along with weekly enrichment activities and excursions. Host family members are invited to participate in a welcome and farewell party as well as activities and excursions as they choose.
