The Family Center nurtures the knowledge, growth and independence of all families. Our caring, committed staff strive to: (1) assist families in setting and achieving their goals, (2) advocate for families who require help from other service providers, building their confidence and ability until they are able to get what they need on their own, and (3) assess progress through identifying and reinforcing families' strengths and accomplishments.

Description:
The Family Center of Northwestern Vermont is part of the Children's Division of Northwestern Counseling and Support Services, Inc. As a member of the Vermont Parent-Child Center Network, The Family Center offers a wide variety of services for children, youth, families and service providers throughout Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. We strive to collaborate with local and State agencies to ensure that families receive the supports they want and need in their communities. The Family Center is home to (1) The Learning Together Program for pregnant and parenting teens, (2) Child Care Support Services including the Child Care Food Program, (3) Case Management Services including Children's Upstream Services (CUPS), and (4) Family Resources including The Family, Infant, Toddler Program (FITP).

 From Main Street, turn left onto Lower Newton Street. Continue straight over railroad tracks. Turn right into the second driveway. Parking and the main entrance are in the rear of te building.
