The mission statement of The Haunted Forest is to create a unique and exciting Halloween experience of theater in the woods and to promote the Vermont values of fun, family, and community involvement.

Description:
The Haunted Forest is celebrating its 28th year in the community. Each year, over 400 volunteers help to put on the 5 night production of outdoor theater in the woods. Guests are led through a one-mile-long path in the woods of Catamount lined with over 1,000 Jack-O'-Lanterns to witness 11 different Halloween-themed vignettes. Volunteers are needed to help sew costumes, paint sets, provide food relief, act, help to park cars, and much, much more.
