The Sara Holbrook Community Center's mission is to develop responsible and productive children, youth, and families through social development, educational and recreational opportunities. The Center serves Chittenden County with a primary focus on the North End of Burlington.
Description:
For 70 years, the Sara Holbrook Community Center (SHCC) has been an integral part of Burlington, especially in its North End. Annually, 4,000 individuals, including immigrant and refugee populations, use the center's programs: pre-school, after-school care, summer camps, teen programming, English classes for adults and children, and basic need assistance. Importantly, all the center's programs are free or low-cost.
