Vermont Kin As Parents (VKAP) is seeking a grant writer to assist in raising funds for our newly organized nonprofit organization. Funds are being sought to assist in our mission, including:

1. an office administrator, to organize the office at Casey Family Services, coordinate volunteers, oversee the phone hotline, website, etc.;
2. support group programs and activities across the state; and
3. the third annual conference scheduled for April, 2007, which provides educational workshops for caregivers and professional agency staff.

We are seeking a person who has experience in writing grants to lead our finance committee in applying for funds to accomplish VKAP's mission.
