History:
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (now know as RSVP Southern Valley) started in 1973 under The Village Family Service Center. in 2003, RSVP moved under the sponsorship of NDSU - Distance & Continuing Education. At that time the project expanded from servicing Cass & Clay Counties to servicing 9 counties: ND - Cass, Richland, Ransom, Sargent, Traill, Griggs, Steele, Barnes & MN - Clay.
