Description:
The Cobb County Community Services Board and the Douglas County Community Services Board (CSB) provide mental health, mental retardation, and substance abuse services to residents in the two counties. Together they serve nearly 13,000 people annually, including children, adolescents and adults in outpatient, day treatment and residential settings.
We attempt to help the people we serve reach their greatest potential in a caring, supportive atmosphere.
History:
The CSB is governed by the Cobb County Board of Directors and the Douglas County Board of Directors who plan, guide, and oversee the agency's operations. Our services are supported by funding from the following: Georgia Department of Human Resources, Cobb and Douglas Counties, Commercial insurance, grants, Medicaid & Medicare, self-pay collections.
