Description:
The Salvation Army in Rochester provides a wide array of services and programs all meant to meet the basic human needs of people in our community. These needs include food,shelter, clothing,utilities, medical and dental care, as well as a day program for adults. The Salvation Army also runs a Thrift Store. Proceeds from this store are used to support the other programs and services we offer. Special programs are offered at Christmas and at Back to School time.
History:
The Salvation Army has been serving the Olmsted County area for over 100 years. Services and programs have changed to adapt to the changing needs of the community. However, the overall mission of addressing basic human needs has remained constant
