Pastoral Care Assistants

Caring volunteers visit newly admitted patients at Bloomington Hospital to inquire about their spiritual needs and their interest in a visit from the chaplain, or from their own religious leader. Volunteers should have the following qualities: comfortable in a hospital setting, tolerant of diversity, respectful of patient confidentiality, calm and pleasant demeanor, and "comfortable in their own skin."
Minimum age requirement of 23.
