The Davis County MRC needs 3,000 pre-trained volunteers to be ready to help in a public health emergency. In the event the Davis County Health Department needed to mass dispense medications to all county residents, local schools and/or churches would be utilized and volunteers from every neighborhood would help.

Volunteers do not need to have a medical background. All volunteers complete a one-hour orientation and have opportunities to receive additional training.

MRC volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers are required to attend a one-hour orientation, held at various times and locations throughout the year. Contact the MRC coordinator/director for upcoming training dates.
