Innovis Health is comprised of a 86-bed hospital and clinic. A staff of doctors, nurses, therapists and technicians work as partners to create a dimension of care that centers on the patient - as a whole person - the physical, emotional and spiritual needs necessary for healing and wellness.

Innovis is formed from the words innovation and vision. Innovis' goal is to provide comprehensive care to families of all ages and in all stages of life. A sunbeam completes the logo, a warm reminder of our challenge to provide innovative care today with insight about the needs of tomorrow.

Hospital units found at Innovis Health include critical and progressive care, medical surgical care, women's and children's care, and neonatal intensive care. There's a 24-hour emergency department and trauma center. Innovis Health offers both inpatient and outpatient surgical services.

History:
In October of 1997, Dakota Clinic announced its plans to build a hospital in south Fargo. In March of 1998, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota joined Dakota Clinic as its partner in the not-for-profit hospital. The groundbreaking for Innovis Health was held in June of 1998. The first hospital patient was admitted on November 1, 2000.

In January 2008, through a partnership with Essentia Health, Innovis Health and Dakota Clinic merged together to become one entity known as Innovis Health, LLC. It is through this joint effort that we are able to continue out tradition of caring with a hospital and 21 clinics throughout the region.
