| Michael Schreiber heads up the leadership team of at United Way
of America. He is responsible for the United eWay, Sales Service
America, the National Corporate Leadership Program, and the
Relationship Management Initiatives. In addition, Michael plays
the role of Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the national
website, the United Way system-wide extranet, and internal
technology for UWA.
Michael has been at United Way of America for since 2001. He
stewarded the conversion of United eWay and Volunteer Solutions
from independent local efforts to integrated, fully funded and
staffed National Programs. In addition, he managed the development
of the National Web Site and the conversion of the look and feel
of the 10,000 member United Way extranet.
Prior to United Way, Michael spent six years with Deloitte
Consulting. While at Deloitte, Michael built and managed the
National Non Profit Practice. He spent two years building a
utilities practice in Southern Africa.
Before Deloitte, Michael worked in small business and economic
development in Zimbabwe and The Gambia. Michael has an MBA from
Duke University, plus an undergraduate degree in Economics and a
Certificate in African Studies from Stanford University.
