Nonprofit organization dedicated to tolerance, diversity appreciation and character education. Kidsbridge features a tolerance museum on campus at The College of New Jersey - Ewing. College students and volunteers serve as docents to engage elementary and middle school children in discussions about tolerance, discrimination, prejudice, name-calling, heroes, sensitivity to persons with disabilities and upstander behavior. Kidsbridge also offers innovative educational,life skill programs and events including the Annual Young Humanitarian Award Competition for community service.
Description:
Youth, families, and educators of the Greater Mercer County region. Our target age for children is 2 to 12 years. Outreach programs focus on diversity appreciation, anti-bullying, life skill and character education programs.
