The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central and South Jersey Affiliate are currently looking for student interns:



Race for the Cure Team Initiative Intern

Must have excellent computer skills – some database knowledge preferred

Must have excellent writing skills

Update team database

Update Race for the Cure website

Implement team and participant communication plan through email, phone calls and letters

Troubleshoot team captain problems and assist team captains to recruit team members

Opportunity to participate in offsite recruitment meetings

Opportunity to create marketing materials



Corporate and Foundation Giving Intern

Must have excellent writing skills

Must have excellent computer skills – mainly website research

Research new foundations and corporations for Komen to approach for funding

Write a funding proposal for Komen breast cancer education and screening programs

Research breast cancer issues and statistics to support proposals

Compile attachments and supporting documentation



Both of these positions include guidance from staff.
