Help the Maitland Historical Society while meeting people and learning more about history. We need volunteers to sit at the entrance to the museum and greet guests as they visit. Our docents will give the tours, but you would greet and welcome the visitors, encourage them to sign the guest book, learn the tour schedule, and coordinate with the docents in order to better serve the visitors.
The volunteers who would most succeed in this position will be outgoing; interested in history, culture, or civic pride; and able to work in a flexible environment. The volunteer would need to work 12:00-4:00pm on his/her appointed day.
