AutumnGrove Cottage is an assisted living facility for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. It is a small facility with a capacity of 16 residents.

History:
When the owners of AutumnGrove Cottage looked at all of the choices available for Alzheimer's care, they knew immediately that there had to be a better way. Many of the Alzheimer’s care facilities were institutional in nature. They knew that families and their loved ones suffering with dementia needed a home and a thoughtfully designed program that focused on their individual, social and emotional needs and their remaining strengths and abilities. They spent nearly two years developing their small uniquely designed environment. The result is a concept that brings to the assisted living industry, what a bed and breakfast brings to the hotel industry. A smaller, more intimate environment that can focus on building a personal relationship with the “customer”. When it opened AutumnGrove was the 1st facility certified by the State of Texas for Alzheimer’s care with less than 20 beds in the entire Houston metro-plex area. The first cottage opened in August of 2005. It is located in Houston, Texas, in the Copperfield area. The second cottage opened in October of 2005, west of Houston in Katy.
