Description:
Our mission is to work with children and families that are in need of avenues of assistance. We focus on children's well being and their ability to adequately survive in today/tomorrow’s society without assistance in the future (i.e.: Scholarships, Training and Supplies). Provide the stepping stones for new beginnings and break the cycle of abuse, neglect and poverty. With these goals in mind, with each persons abilities and needs being different leads to a wide range of programs to be strategically placed in operation. Through volunteers, assistance and proper funding – programs such as teaching that there is another world outside of abuse and neglect. Giving children the ability to escape what they were born into through will power and scholarships. The chance to succeed and overcome. The stepping stones from shelters and broken homes to success.

History:
N.D.F. was founded July 2004, Gained 501c3 status As of August 2004. We steadyly strive to achieve our goals. Currently through fundraising events we maintain our goal and assist families as the abilities arise. Over the past 2 years we have assisted aprox 6 families and assisted Turning Point Center(organizaton)with food and clothing supplies during Katrina.
